Clubhouse Pro: Meet Michael Hennessey

Welcome to the Clubhouse! As members of the Centennial Mazda family, you know we pride ourselves on challenging the status quo to celebrate the experience of the drive. At Centennial Mazda, our clubhouse is more than a dealership, it’s a place where relationships come before transactions.

Staying true to that spirit, we wanted to focus on the relationships we’ve built with you, our customers. So we reached out to one of our most devoted Clubhouse members to talk about all things Mazda. We’d like to introduce you to our longtime customer and friend, Michael Hennessey!

Michael and his wife Darlene joined the Centennial Mazda Clubhouse over 18 years ago with the purchase of their very first Mazda, a 2003 Mazda MPV. At the time, they were searching for a vehicle that could haul people and hockey gear with comfort and ease. After looking at a Honda Odyssey and a Toyota Sienna, Michael dropped by the dealership and was shocked by the fact that he could get the same quality and features he was looking for, but with more seating versatility for almost $10,000 less than what the competition was asking. He struck a deal and made sure to mention they wanted to establish a long-term relationship with our dealership, and the rest is history from there.

Since then, Michael and his family have owned 10 Mazdas over the years, including four Mazda3s, three CX-5s, a Mazda5, and a Mazda Tribute in addition to their MPV. He says some of their best memories were in their original Mazda MPV.

Some other favourite memories in his Mazdas include enjoying the six-passenger seating in his family’s Mazda5 to go out for drives and take their grandparents to dinner, and travelling to Florida with his family in their CX-5. Michael says all of his family’s experiences speak to the versatility, safety, and features offered by Mazda, noting they “all had great mileage, too!”

As for his experience at the dealership, Michael says he’s always been treated fairly by first MacIsaac, now Centennial Mazda. After purchasing his first CX-5 from our now General Sales Manager, Jordan Cronkhite, Michael says he considers Jordan a friend and always appreciates their time together.

Michael says after 18 years, his family’s long-term relationship has indeed worked out. Even his daughter has joined the Mazda Clubhouse! Michael mentioned he’ll be dealing with Centennial Auto Group in the near future, saying “ I trust them and my dealings with them either for sales or service have been fair, reasonable, and as expected.  Jordan and the staff have always had time for us and kept in contact with various promotions.  We're a Mazda family and I expect this to continue.”

Centennial Mazda Reads Good Reviews

People say really nice things about our Centennial Mazda team. But in the busyness of a fast-paced day, do the members of our Centennial Mazda team know just how well-liked they truly are? Perhaps they'll realize they deserve a pat on the back; perhaps...

Mazda CX-70 vs Mazda CX-90 – What's The Difference?

Two rows or three? Take your pick. The 2025 Mazda CX-70 arrives in the spring of 2024 as the CX-90's five-seat offspring. With cargo-carrying intentions, the CX-70 adds rear underfloor storage that takes the position of the CX-90's foldable third row. For the most part, however, the CX-70 mirrors the CX-90.
