Mazda Canada's 2024 Suna Editions: What Are They?

Painted in Zircon Sand Metallic and slathered with terracotta upholstery, there are four new Suna Edition Mazdas appearing in Canada for the 2024 model year.
The 2024 Mazda 3 Sport, 2024 Mazda CX-30, and 2024 Mazda CX-5 Suna Editions will all pair i-Activ all-wheel drive with Mazda's Skyactiv-G 2.5 turbo generating 256 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. The 2024 Mazda MX-30 Suna, of course, will continue with its electric powertrain.
These special Suna Edition Mazdas wear a gloss black grille, gloss black wheels, and gloss black side mirrors as key differentiators. To date, the only Mazdas available in Canada to be available in Zircon Sand Metallic paint is the CX-50. Spotting a Mazda 3 Sport, CX-30, CX-5, or MX-30 in Zircon Sand will definitely alert the eyes.
As we approach the 2024 model year, we'll know more about pricing and features for the Suna Edition Mazdas. Keep in mind, in the U.S. market, vehicles that look an awful lot like Canada's Suna Editions will be marketed as the Carbon Turbo: CX-5, CX-30, and both the 3 hatchback and sedan.
