The Sixth Annual Centennial Classic Is November 17th At Credit Union Place

UPDATE: Centennial Classic delayed by one day.

The 2023-2024 Maritime Hockey league is well underway, which means it's time for the sixth annual Centennial Classic. As always, this year's Junior A game features PEI's own Summerside Western Capitals. The Caps will be playing the Truro Bearcats on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Credit Union Place. Game time is 7:30pm.

(Due to roster complications with the Truro Bearcats, this game is one day later than originally scheduled.)

Tickets will be available upon arrival – just look for our staff in the main lobby to collect your free admission passes. No proof of registration is required, but planning for the evening can run more smoothly if you kindly sign up here.

  • • The first 300 children to arrive will receive a marked Centennial Classic puck to participate in giveaways happening all night long, so come early for your best chance to win some pretty incredible prizes. Gates open at 6:30pm.
  • • One person will have the chance to Shoot To Win a FREE 2023 Suzuki KingQuad. Sign up here to be our lucky participant!
  • • Set to be our biggest event yet, we're ready to make the evening even more memorable for one lucky minor hockey player by giving them the opportunity to join Summerside's MHL stars at centre ice to top the game-opening puck. Sign up your U7, U9, U11, or U13 minor hockey player here.
  • • Centennial Auto Group isn't the only supplier of prizes. We continue to thank our partners – Summerside Western Capitals, Arsenault Brothers Construction, Tops To Floors, Maritime Electric, Kool Breeze, Double Eagle Indoor Golf, Holman's Ice Cream Parlour, HMS Hamster, Space Treats, The Toy Factory, and Source For Sports – for donating so generously to the community.

Outside of the home opener, last year's Centennial Classic V – a 10-2 victory over Miramichi on December 2 – was the biggest regular season crowd of the year for the Caps. Centennial Classic IV on November 25, 2021, was by far the biggest crowd of that season.

What did last year look like?

Centennial Mazda Reads Good Reviews

People say really nice things about our Centennial Mazda team. But in the busyness of a fast-paced day, do the members of our Centennial Mazda team know just how well-liked they truly are? Mazda CX-70 vs Mazda CX-90 – What's The Difference?

Two rows or three? Take your pick. The 2025 Mazda CX-70 arrives in the spring of 2024 as the CX-90's five-seat offspring. With cargo-carrying intentions, the CX-70 adds rear underfloor storage that takes the position of the CX-90's foldable third row. For the most part, however, the CX-70 mirrors the CX-90. Exterior dimensions are virtually identical. Powertrains – from the 280-horsepower...
